WORKPLACE HEALTH SAFETY & TRAINING POLICY

ACCD fully endorses the codes of practice in Occupational Health and Safety and requires all employees to operate in a safe workplace environment.  The company completes regular and ongoing in-house training for each concrete cutting technician to ensure they adhere to the highest safety standards and in accordance with all relevant codes of practices within the concrete cutting industry.

•   Training of staff is a continuing commitment by ACCD to maintain competentency skill levels and adoption of new improved methods and techniques.  The implementation of the Concrete Cutting Industry Association "Course in Induction & Safety for Concrete Cutting & Drilling" ensures compliance with the standards of the industry.

•   All ACCD staff maintain an awareness of their operating environment, their responsibility to protect themselves, their fellow workers and other workers/customers in the area of operations.

•   ACCD has implemented and strictly follows ISO9001 compliant policies and procedures.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

ACCD is a leader in "environmental protection" in the South East Region of Queensland.  An "Environmental Management Plan" has been fully implemented to meet with EPA guidelines.· ACCD has adopted environmental policies and procedures that strictly adhere to all environmental legislations.

ACCD Fleet vehicles include water tankers with pumps, generators and wet vacuum units for deployment as required.  We use slurry units to collect, remove and dispose of the slurry without impacting on the environment and thus adhering to EPA guidelines and legislation.
